Castle Rock Resident Lookup Coverage
Match the question to its record keeper. The Douglas County Assessor search connects a name to a parcel and legal description. The voter tool is a self-check, a docket shows a court event, and an archive supplies a dated lead. Coverage and fee details were checked August 18, 2026.
| Record | What It Confirms | Where | Access |
|---|---|---|---|
| Assessor parcel | Owner, situs, mailing, legal description, account and parcel | Douglas Assessor | Web search; date result |
| Recorded instrument | Dated party, type, reception number, legal interest and image | LandmarkWeb / Recording | Index, image, station or request |
| Voter registration | Registration, residence or mailing, status and districts | Colorado SOS / county Elections | Self-lookup or requested list |
| Court docket | Party, case, hearing date, courtroom and event | Douglas or Town court | Docket plus records request |
| Vital record | Eligible birth, death, marriage or divorce route | Douglas, CDPHE or court | Eligibility, ID and interest |
| Business or license | Entity filing, credential or public role | Colorado SOS or DORA | Public verification; role limits |
Start with the parcel, hearing, or street clue. Use LandmarkWeb after an address is translated into a legal description, party, or reception number. Keep results separate.
Douglas Assessor Name Search
The Assessor is the first stop when a name may connect to a Castle Rock parcel. Its basic form offers All or Search All Fields, Address, City and Zip Code, Owner Name, Account Number, and State Parcel Number. Results sort by Best Match, Account, Owner, or Address. Save the account, parcel, situs, and date.
| Search level | Fields to use | Why it helps |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | Address, City, ZIP, owner name, account, state parcel | Fast route from a name or address to a parcel card |
| Advanced owner | Owner, account type, appraisal type, value, neighborhood, LEA | Narrows common names and entity records |
| Advanced property | Street number, street name, cities, ZIP Code, subdivision, block, lot, tract | Tests the address and parcel crosswalk |
| Advanced history | Sale date or price, recording number, deed type, grantor, grantee | Finds a dated transaction before LandmarkWeb |
The Treasurer is distinct. A Douglas County tax account record is keyed to an account or parcel and may show payment history, tax authorities, mailing information, and parcel links. The R0057306 sample displays 5243 Mesa Drive, ZIP 80108, legal description, values, and tax lines. It is a field inventory, not proof of residence.
Colorado Voter Lookup Fields
The Colorado Secretary of State self-lookup is narrower than a bulk voter file. Its visible fields are first name, last name, ZIP Code, and birthday in MM/DD/YYYY format. Use all four when checking a person’s own registration, and try an older ZIP after a move when the page gives that option. A result can show the public registration information available to the voter, but a confidential voter or a preregistered person under 18 may not appear.
The Colorado voter lookup image shows a four-field self-check, not a public directory. Douglas County Elections at 125 Stephanie Place updates its standard list each business day and voter history after each election. Fields can include residence, mailing, voter ID, status, precinct, municipality, court, legislative, and special-district data. Protected identifiers, ballot choices, confidential voters, and protected preregistrants are excluded.
For a county or statewide extract, use the Secretary of State request route. The 2025 to 2026 form lists a $50 individual report, $1,000 subscription, and voter, history, ballot, cure, and other products. It requires requester, product, dates, delivery, signature, copies, and payment. A match is a dated registration claim, not a household record.
The official Colorado voter self-lookup illustrates the first-name, last-name, ZIP, and birthday sequence used for a personal check.
The form is a useful identity anchor, but its result must stay labeled as voter registration data, with residence, mailing, status, and effective date kept separate.
Douglas Court Name Search
The Douglas County Combined Court is at 4000 Justice Way, Suite 2009, Castle Rock, Colorado 80109, phone 720-437-6200. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It is in the 23rd Judicial District, created January 14, 2025 for Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln Counties.
| Docket group | Visible fields | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Location | District, county, courthouse, court type, division | Select Douglas County and narrow when known |
| Date | Date range or specified date | Pair a date with another filter |
| Case | Four-digit year, case class, case sequence | Best route when a case number is known |
| Party | Individual first and last name, or business | Search variants and common names |
| Attorney | Attorney name or attorney bar number | Alternate anchor when counsel is known |
The Douglas docket search is a hearing index, not a complete file. Result cards can show date, party, case number, hearing type, location, appearance, and courtroom. The 2019CR451 example does not prove disposition.
The official Douglas docket portal shows the location, date, case, party, and attorney filters.
For pleadings, orders, disposition, or a certified copy, email douglasrecords@judicial.state.co.us. Fax is not accepted; the response target is three business days. A docket entry is not a final outcome unless disposition appears.
Federal matters use a PACER account. Fees are $0.10 per page, capped at $3 for a document or case report, $2.40 for audio, with a quarterly waiver at $30 or less.
Castle Rock Municipal Court Forms
Town citations belong to Castle Rock Municipal Court, not the Douglas County Combined Court. The municipal court is at 100 Perry Street and lists 303-663-6133. Its form asks for printed name, signature, date, docket if known, requester or agency, contact details, defendant and optional date of birth, documents, and the reason, including party affiliation to the incident.
The form uses reCAPTCHA and says a request may take up to three working days. It requires an affirmation against direct solicitation for pecuniary gain under C.R.S. §24-72-305.5. No fee is stated, so confirm copying or certification cost with the court.
The Castle Rock Municipal Court request form shows the local fields and the short response window for a municipal case record.
Keep the Town docket, county docket, federal case, and police record as separate layers. A municipal court request can identify a public case record, but it does not expose every household member, every case result, or a present address.
Castle Rock Record Result Inventory
Copy a result as fields, not a broad claim. Record URL, query, date, status, supporting field, and any account, parcel, reception, or case number.
- Parcel: account, parcel number, owner, mailing, situs, legal description, values, tax authority, and sale links.
- Recorded document: party, type, reception, date, book/page, legal description, and image.
- Docket card: date, party, case number, type, location, appearance, and courtroom.
- Voter file: name, voter ID, status, residence, mailing, precinct, districts, and history.
- Permit or license: applicant, owner or entity, address, date, status, and role.
Name collisions need two anchors: name plus address, date, parcel, case number, or legal description. Label a company, trust, spouse, successor, or registered agent by role. A shared name is unresolved.
Use this four-step verification sequence after a first hit.
- Normalize the name and retain spelling, date, and search fields.
- Anchor it to a parcel, voter record, case, date, or historic street clue.
- Compare a second custodian and keep owner, voter, party, and role fields separate.
- Request the file or certified copy when the index matters.
A negative search means no result appeared under that spelling and filter, not that a person never lived here.
- Docket
- A court schedule or case-event index; pleadings, exhibits, or a final order may be absent.
- Index versus image
- An index is the searchable description. An image is the scanned page; historic images may require a station.
- Certified copy
- A copy issued or certified by the custodian, not an ordinary screen result.
Castle Rock Vital Records
Birth, death, marriage, and divorce records use different channels. The Douglas County Health Department issues eligible Colorado birth and death certificates through local, online, email, and mail routes. The local fee is $25 for the first copy, $20 for each additional copy, and $20 for expedited USPS shipping. The application asks for name, event date and place, parents, purpose, relationship, signature, payment, and ID.
The CDPHE order route covers state online, mail, or appointment service. It lists up to 30 business days; local Douglas service states five business days online. Vital statistics are confidential under C.R.S. §25-2-117 and require an eligible requester with direct and tangible interest. No current public name index was located.
The Colorado vital-record ordering page shows the eligibility route.
The Douglas County vital records office handles birth and death; the Clerk and Recorder handles marriage or civil-union licenses. An application copy is limited to either party or immediate family and costs $1.25 plus shipping. Divorce belongs to district court. Historical birth research may move to State Archives at 100 years.
The Douglas County vital-records page supplies the local route.
Keep the local form, state registrar, county clerk, and court distinct. An obituary lead is not a certified certificate.
Castle Rock Historical Name Trails
For an older name, Douglas County Libraries bridges a question and an original source. The Philip and Jerry Miller Library Archives and Local History collection is at 100 S. Wilcox Street, Castle Rock, with newspapers, obituaries, phone books, yearbooks, maps, cemetery material, family histories, photographs, and manuscripts. Its phone-book run covers 1966 through 1973. A catalog hit may require an archivist.
The Castle Rock Journal ran 1881 to 1908, followed by the Record-Journal to 1952 and Douglas County News to 1966, with gaps. DCL identifies 1886 and 1888 issues and role entries such as mayor and trustee. These are dated leads, not a complete list. The Castle Rock city directory guide covers the collection trail.
Colorado State Archives adds Douglas probate from 1865 to 1945, divorce from 1867 to 1961, and naturalization from 1870 through 1920. The 1875 Frankstown and 1978 Castle Rock courthouse fires make duplicate evidence important. Keep the original street and date before a parcel crosswalk.
Castle Rock License and CHRI Roles
Business and professional records can confirm a public role without proving a home address. The Colorado Secretary of State business search accepts entity, trademark, trade name, ID, and document searches. A filing can show status, registered agent, office, officers or managers where filed, and dates. It does not certify legal operation or personal residence.
The DORA verification portal exposes Profession, first and middle name, License Type, last name, License Number, and License Status, with wildcard `*` support. Report the role, credential, status, public issue or expiration field, discipline field when shown, and checked date. CBI ICHC costs $6 per result or $13 for a manual/notarized CHRI request. It is Colorado-only and fingerprint based. The public result excludes juvenile arrests unless adjudicated as an adult, traffic arrests under age 16, and sealed arrests; tickets or summonses may be absent. An arrest is not a disposition.
Role check. A public record should be written as “the source displayed this name in this role and address context on this date,” not as a generalized biography.
Castle Rock Lookup Privacy Limits
Public access has boundaries. Colorado’s Address Confidentiality Program provides a substitute legal address and confidential mail forwarding for qualifying survivors of domestic violence, sexual offenses, and stalking. Certification lasts four years with re-enrollment, and agencies must accept the substitute address. A missing result is not a clue for bypassing that protection.
The Colorado Privacy Act gives covered controllers access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out rights, including Global Privacy Control where honored. It does not erase a deed, court file, voter record, or newspaper held by its custodian. The Driver’s Privacy Protection Act, 18 U.S.C. §§2721 to 2725, restricts DMV data. Sealed, expunged, juvenile, adoption, medical, and protected family records may be unavailable.
When a record is wrong or sensitive, keep its account, case, document, or request number and contact the custodian about correction, redaction, sealing, or the proper request route. Public information is not permission to publish private contact details or pressure a person.
Lawful use. A Castle Rock name search is for personal, lawful research, family history, civic understanding, or a legitimate records question. Do not use public data to stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or harm anyone.
Note: A source gap is a result to record, not an invitation to substitute an unverified private profile.
